You mentioned in one of your write ups - you make a Protein Power shake - Please tell me what you put in it.(can it also be used as a meal replacement shake?)
THanks so much for your time

Angela's Response:

Hi Brigadoon. Great question. I start with 1 - 2 full tablespoons of bee pollen mixed with 1 full scoop of Sunwarrior Protein Powder, 1 - 2 tablespoons of milled flax seeds, a full serving of Amazing Grasses Greens powder and some frozen fruit. I mix this into 1 and a half cups of filtered water. I blend it all together and it makes an amazing smoothie.

Protein Drink
by: Brigadoon

Hi Angela,
I did read what you posted for the drink. However, I am looking for a protein that comes from Egg or Hemp - do you have any thoughts on either one of these?
thanks again
Brigadoon

Hello Brigadoon. Yes, I often use hemp protein in place of the rice protein. In fact, my husband uses hemp almost daily as he prefers it over rice. Hemp is an excellent protein source that also contains a high level of fiber and omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Make sure you use an organic, non-gmo product. I use the Ruth's Hemp Products brand. Egg protein powder is harder to come by. I like egg protein but in powder form it is often found with artificial sweeteners due to its strong taste. I have yet to find an organic, naturally sweetened egg protein powder.
