Taking the Bee Pollen in the area you live

I have heard that it is better to take any bee products(bee pollen is the product I am interested in for my allergies) from a distributor in the area which you live. Do you agree with this or can you receive the direct benefits regardless of from what area of the country it is purchased.

If you are taking the pollen to aid in pollen allergies then yes, it is important to consume bee pollen from as close an area as possible. If you are taking bee pollen for the vitamin and mineral and overall health benefits then it is less important to consume a bee pollen from your local area and it is more important to find a bee pollen that is of high quality.
