Raw Honey - How Much Filtration?

by Jake
(barrie )

I've been looking for some raw honey unheated, unpasteurized and unfiltered. In your online shop under Raw Honey you say it is lightly filtered. I was curious to what extent is it filtered? Is there pieces of pollen or wax still present? I'm looking for honey that is as pure as honey comb.

Angela's Response:

Our raw honey is only filtered to the extent that we remove all the hive debris from it. So we filter out things like dead bee parts and any other undesirable thing that may have made its way into the hive. There will be royal jelly, bee propolis, bee pollen and wax all present in our raw honey.
