How do i tell if my bee pollen has expired?

by Laura
(United Kingdom)

Hi

i have been keeping my bee pollen at room temperature for around 3 months.

How do i tell if its gone off?

Shall i throw it away or simply keep it in the fridge from now on.

Many thanks

Hi Laura,
At room temperature it should be fine. If it has gone bad, it will have a very off taste that could be interpreted as rancid or moldy or just plain bad.

Hope that helps,
Angela
