Bee Pollen and Anastrozole after Breast Cancer

by Margaretann
(Wisconsin)

Is bee pollen safe to take while I am on Anastrozole? I am taking anastrozole as a hormone therapy after a lumpectomy and radation for stage 1 breast cancer. Anastrozole is suppose to block estrogen.

Angela's Comments:

Hi Margaretann,
I would suggest you speak with a pharmacist or Naturopathic Physician who has knowledge of natural supplements as I am not aware of that drug nor am I qualified to comment on the interactions of drugs with bee products. I have seen many people use bee pollen with many types of drugs safely but I always suggest using extra caution when dealing with cancer.
