side effects of bee pollen

about 30 min agi I ate 1 tsp bee pollen straight, and then my throat started feeling a tiny bit swollen. I have taken bee pollen in the past, no problems...but today was the first dose in a long time. The feeling in my throat has not gotten worse, just staying the same. What should I do?

Angela Says:

Definitely an allergic reaction. Even though you've taken bee pollen before, the source and type of pollens in the product can change from bag to bag and company to company. Take a one week break and then try to reintroduce starting with one granule per day.
