Sad cat with stomatitis

Greetings, I have a year old cat who was diagnosed with stomatitis, an autoimmune disorder that effects his gums which make them ultra sensitive to bacteria on his teeth. If not taken care of, he may lose all of his teeth. In no way shape or form can I brush this guys teeth so I plan to buy one of the tinctures to give orally. I am wondering if I should try the alcohol free or use the one with alcohol. It would seem to me the alcohol will aid in killing bacteria in his mouth. Either way, for a 9lb cat, how many drops per day would be okay to give? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

Thank you kindly!

I would caution you using an alcohol tincture on your cat without running that by a vet before hand. We get many questions about using propolis in cats and always recommend powder based products or an alcohol free tincture.
