Royal Jelly source

I am trying to find a reliable source for royal jelly. Some websites I have visited over the past couple of days are stating that there aren't any North American sources for royal jelly. That all royal jelly is sourced from Asia and it's the bee pollen from Asia that is contaminated but not the royal jelly. Can you shed some light on this? Thanks.

Hi Geneva,
Great question. You are correct in that almost all royal jelly is sourced from Asia. We are able to source certified North American royal jelly so I can't comment on why other suppliers aren't able too. As far as the contamination of royal jelly goes, you are correct. There is some very high quality royal jelly that comes from Asia. It is not all bad. It is like anything else - you get what you pay for.

Bee healthy,
Angela
