Raw honey not crystalising?

by Julie
(Louisiana)

My "raw unprocessed honey" is not crystallising after 3 months. Should I suspect it not to be truely raw? I was told it was filtered but no heat at all was applied. I bought it for the health benefits and I don't want to be wasting my money. Thanks so much. Julie

Hi Julie,
Truly raw honey is no filtered so yes, it is not raw honey. The reason it is not crystalising is because it has been filtered and will remain liquid for quite some time. Raw honey is unheated and unfiltered.

Hope that helps,
Angela
