Propolis the cure for giardiasis?

by Sunshine

Hi there,

I recently learned that propolis is great for treating dogs with giardiasis (especially when used in conjuction with a vet prescribed antibiotic) but I haven't been able to find any information on dosage of propolis for dogs...only that it works.

Do you happen to know what the dosage might be? (one pup is 26 lbs and the other is 60)

Thank you!

Angela's comments:

A good starting dose is 50 mg per 25 lbs in weight. You can likely increase from this level if this dose is not effective and the dog tolerates it well. Buy a propolis capsule and twist it open and dump the powder into the animals food.
