Propolis Side Effects/ Length of Time to Use Propolis

1. Are there any side effects for using propolis?

2. Can you take Propolis for years?

I have been taking Bee Pollen, Raw honey, Royal Jelly, and Propolis for years as a way to keep my body healthy and prevent various illnesses. I take them 3 weeks, I'm off for 1 week.

3. Is this a safe practice?

Angela's comments:

The most common side effect of propolis is an allergic reaction, which is extremely rare. When googled, this is the most common side effect but in my lifetime of using, recommending and selling propolis, I've encountered very few, if any people who have had reactions to it. As for long term use, it appears to be safe but what you're doing with taking a one week break after 3 weeks of use is likely wise.
