Propolis for shingles?

Hi, and thank you for a great forum! I used to eat raw honey a lot but somehow drifted away from it, I guess mostly due to availability and budget. I am suffering from shingles at the moment and waiting for delivery of propolis chunks.
Is anyone aware of results anyone has had using propolis for shingles? It is a horrible thing to go through!
I was planning on chewing them until the condition subsides and then going onto a lower maintenance dosage.

I have not come across anyone using propolis for shingles but based on the research I see on it, this might be an effective option for you. Please post your results if you have a moment.
