Propolis for Influenza and hoarse voice

Hello Angela:

Your website is super awesome! I am taking Propolis for 3 weeks now because I am getting
sick with Flu and cough over 5 times in less than a year.

Last winter I developed a respiratory infection and the antibiotics are not working.

I would like to know after how many days/weeks I will notice the effect of taking Propolis (40 drops daily) and how long should I take for?

Hi Mirta,
It really depends on many factors as to how long it will take propolis to work. I find propolis can work in under 12 hours in some people. This doesn't mean your illness will be gone, but it might be improving this quickly. Personally, I often find that to be the case when I feel a cold coming on. It may take longer depending on your immune system and the severity of the illness and in this case where it sounds like you have a depleted immune system, it may take several weeks.

You may also want to consider taking a product called Moducare which helps modulate the immune system.
