Pesticides in honey

I find all the health benefits amazing and also have bought some of the skin care products and absolutely love them. However I was just wondering now that they are discovering pesticides and toxins in honey (shocked that it was not discovered along time ago really with all the crap we use on our plants) what your thoughts are on that matter and how are you able to keep your honey safe.

Angela's comments:

Hi Beth. Great question. Personally, I'm very concerned about this issue. Even organic honey is turning up with pesticides in it. This is issue is very new to the honey industry and something we have to look into very seriously. Unfortunately, pesticides are so pervasive in the environment, this will be a massive problem to solve and I'm sorry that I don't have a good answer for you at this time.
