My bee pollen tastes like fish

by Susanna
(India)

I'm from India and recently ordered local bee pollen from Amazon. Upon opening the jar, I noticed that it did not smell very appealing though it had a sweet odour
Today I mixed some bee pollen with honey + hot milk and tolerated the taste until the bottom of the cup- when I ingested a spoonful of undissolved bee pollen that tasted so foul that I threw up the contents of my stomach.
Am now unsure of the quality/freshness of this product. Please advise!

Angela's comments:

This pollen is likely spoiled or hasn't been processed correctly. I'd recommend sending it back for a refund. When pollen is harvested, it is moist and if not dried quickly, can spoil.
