Living exclusively on bee pollen

can an adult of 55years live exclusively on bee pollen alone and what would the amount of pollen needed be?

thank you,

peter.

Hi Peter,
I wouldn't recommend this but have 'heard' of people trying it. The most successful case I've encountered can be read about here:

https://www.bee-pollen-buzz.com/bee-pollen-diet.html

This person was medically supervised during the 6 months they lived on bee pollen and fresh fruit. She consumed about 12 tablespoons per day of bee pollen. As you'll see from the article, many aspects of her health improved dramatically.

Personally, I believe a varied, whole food diet (organic) is the healthiest way to eat, including daily doses of bee pollen. Perhaps fasting on bee pollen for 3 - 5 days is healthy but I do have concerns about living on it exclusively long term.
