If you take bee pollen daily will you become immune to the effects?

If you take bee pollen daily will you become immune to the effects? Can you take it regularly or do you need to skip a week or so?

Angela's Comments:

As far as I am aware, no, you won't develop any resistance to bee pollen if you take it everyday (assuming you have a healthy immune system). You do develop a tolerance or 'immunity' to the pollens though (which is a good thing and one of the reasons why bee pollen helps with allergies). I do however, recommend taking a break from bee pollen every month or two. Take a week or so off or more if your body requires it. This is a healthy practice for not only bee pollen, but all foods. A nice variety of healthy food exposes you to a greater amount of nutrients and phytochemicals while also ensuring your immune system isn't over-burdened.
