High Cortisol and Royal Jelly

by Bonnie
(Ontario)

Hello:

I can get hyper on 1/3 capsule (1,000 mg. size) of Royal Jelly and I never knew why. I am under stress and have elevated Cortisol a few times. So if Royal Jelly is a stimulant, could that be why I can't tolerate very much?

Thanks a lot for your great website.

Bonnie

High Cortisol and Royal Jelly

Yes, that is likely the cause Bonnie. It is likely stimulating your adrenals, which it doesn't do for most people. Normally the B-vitamins in royal jelly support and nourish the adrenals, not stimulate them. But in sensitive cases it can be a stimulant.
