Cat Calicivirus

I've just read a little about propolis and am wondering if it might be a good addition to my cat's nutrition. I believe he has calicivirus as he is a young cat with very inflammed gums. This is what the vet suspects.

He is otherwise quite healthy and I think something of the bee products might help him to fight off this virus.

What do you think? Should propolis be the first bee product to try with my cat?
Thank you.

Angela's comments:

Yes, propolis is the strongest anti-viral and anti-inflammatory from the hive so is definitely the place to start for your cat.
