Bee pollen for enlarged prostate?

by Alfons

Please let me know how many capsules of bee pollen to take to treat an enlarge prostate.

Angela's Comments:

There have been no studies done on determining the exact dose of bee pollen for an enlarged prostate, so I can only offer you some examples of what I have witnessed our customers do. I would suspect you'd need to take 4- 6 capsules a day of bee pollen (500 - 600 mg capsule size) but perhaps even more. You might be better advised to use raw granules instead of capsules in the future in order to obtain the higher doses necessary. If so, I would at recommend at least 2 tablespoons per day after slowly working your way up from very small amounts of bee pollen. It is possible you may need to take even greater amounts than this.

Don't Start With Large Doses...
by: Anonymous

For those interested in knowing, starting with large or even normal doses of bee pollen is NOT the way to go.

Start bee pollen with only about 2 granules and SLOWLY work up to the dose of perhaps a teaspoon at a time. I made this tremendous mistake in the beginning and suffered miserably for it.

Unknowing, and also ignoring the instructions, I ate about a teaspoon and liking the taste, ate some more! This is among the most stupid things I have ever done. Several hours later, my eyes were swollen, my throat was sore and closing up. I was just fortunate that I did not eat more than I had, or I would not be here to share this experience.

By starting with small amounts, slowly working up the dosage gradually, my body's immune system was able to cope with the introduction of the bee pollen without adverse effects. Don't make the mistake I did.
