Are my bee pollen granules still good after one year?

I have a bottle of bee pollen that's opened but hasn't been used for over a year now. (I quit eating dairy and used to put in on yogurt). Is it still safe to eat? What else can I use it on/with?

Angela's Comments:

If it was stored in a cool, dry place it should still be good provided it was a dried bee pollen and not fresh. (fresh would have still contained the moisture and this would have lead to it going bad) Taste a small amount and try to detect if there is any mould or racidity to the pollen.
