Allergies to dogs and cats

I came across your website yesterday when looking up information about bee pollen. Does it only help allergies such as tree or flower related allergies or does it also help with animal allergies. I have a very good friend who they have on all kinds of allergy drugs that are extremely expensive, I'm trying to help him find an alternative that is natural and maybe not so expensive. He is highly allergic to cats and dogs.

Hi Jenny,
Great question. We do see some people experience a reduction in non-pollen related allergy symptoms when consuming bee pollen. Why this is we're not exactly sure but it appears that bee pollen may help modulate the immune system for some people. So give it a try and let me know how things go!

Cat allergies

I eliminated my seasonal allergies in my 20's by taking just 1/4 t. or less of bee pollen each day for 2 years. I've taken it on and off through the years, and my allergies have not come back. I never thought of it for cat allergies, but I am going to give it to my daughter who loves cats and has an allergy to them as well.

I believe the nutrients in bee pollen do strengthen the immune system.

Hi Angela,

Thank you for your response! Although he still has to take the medications prescribed it seems as though the bee pollen is "pumping them up" a little. He's noticing less headaches due to the allergies/medication and as usual with bee pollen, much more energy! Thank you for your help and both my friend, his wife, and myself will all continue taking it!
