Raw Honey Bee Pollen Spread

by Jack Wilkerson
(Umatilla, FL USA)

Now much pollen is in a teaspoon of the mixed spread?

Angela's Answer:

Our raw honey bee pollen spread is 5% bee pollen by weight. Since our raw honey bee pollen spread is 500 grams per bottle, then there is 25 grams of bee pollen in each bottle. 25 grams of bee pollen is only two tablespoons in total. So you'd have only a couple grams of bee pollen per teaspoon in the raw honey spread.

If I make a mixture of bee pollen and raw honey, would this mixture need to be refrigerated?

Angela's Comments:

No, it would not. The honey preserves the bee pollen.
