Propolis Vaginal suppositories

by Jenny
(Atlanta, Ga, usa)

Have you ever heard of anyone making their own vag suppositories with propolis to heal cervical dysplasia? Do you have any info on this? Thanks!

Hi Jenny,
I have not had any experience doing this but I would suggest using raw propolis chunks and not a tincture (which are alcohol based often). I wish I could help you more on this. Please let me know how things go or if there is any way I can help as I'd be fascinated to pass your success onto our readers.

Propolis in cervix
by: Anonymous

Hi! I used the propolis capsule and inserted the entire capsule. It had been coming out of me in chunks the following days post insertion and my boyfriend had found that half of it was still in me a few days later, but I decided to leave it there as the BV symptoms felt better and it seemed to be doing the job. HOWEVER - I thought I was bleeding even though it's day 16 when I'm supposed to be ovulating (it was hard to tell because of the color of the proplis) so I looked inside with the speculum and sure enough my cervix is oozing blood and white, chunky mucous and seems to have a chunk of the propolis stuck in it. I took a pregnancy test to rule that out but that chunk seems to be the culprit and I don't know how to get it out. I took the half that was inside of me out at this point and it was impacted together even though the capsule had dissolved. If you do this, I recommend dissolving the propolis first in water and using it as a douche. Studies show that it is effective against BV but they used it as a douche in those studies so I recommend you do that or dissolve the propolis some other way (like maybe aloe vera) so it doesn't hurt your cervix with hard little impacted chunks.

Fibroid Operation
by: Anonymous

I am about to have a major operation early January to remove large fibroids in my womb and an ovarian cyst. I heard that the propolis tablets are good to take to ward off any infections. and was informed to take the supplements 10 days before and after the operation. Please advise?

Comments:

Yes, Propolis has very strong anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. If I was to enter the hospital, I would certainly use propolis pre and post surgery along with a very good probiotic such as BioK, which will protect you from C-difficile.
