Angela's comments:

Hi Jackie,
You'll need to cut those tablets into smaller pieces to begin. I recommend 50 mg's of propolis in cats to start. You can then increase from there if tolerance is good. Propolis is generally well tolerated but do watch for allergic reaction as you increase the dose.

Bee healthy,
Angela

Cat has cancer
by: Nat

My 10 year old cat has been diagnosed with lymphoma that has affected his stomach and intestines.

I'm starting him on human grade capsule of bee pollen/ Royal jelly / propolis.

What would you recommend as dosage and how many times per week and how often per day?

He is about 9 kgs (about 19 lbs) at the moment.

Thanks

Angela's Comments:

There is no definitive guide to using propolis for cancer Nat but some of the studies suggest 100 mg per kg per day. So if your cat weighs 9 kgs, you could try and work up to 900 mgs per day in divided doses. Start out with 100 mgs per day and increase if tolerance is good.
