The Amazing Maca and Honey Mix

So you may be wondering what the heck Maca is and what does it have to do with bee pollen or honey?

Well, Maca root has been used for centuries therapeutically. On it’s own it has many healing effects, just like bee pollen and raw honey.

From a strictly nutritional point of view, the contents of Maca would supply individuals with much more than the bare minimum daily requirements of numerous vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fatty acids.

Acting as an adaptogen, Maca will help to bring balance and energy to the body without negatively effecting the adrenal glands.

As you've read, Maca truly is a superfood. Combining it with raw honey to create a super charged health food blend seemed like a great idea.

After much experimentation by my mother Annie, she determined the perfect ratio of maca to honey and voila, MacaHoney was created!

You can now experience all the benefits of raw honey as well as the substantial health benefits of maca in one, great tasting product.

Doctor's Opinions

Doctors are more and more singing the praises of this wonderful plant.

Dr. Zolten Rona, M.D. said the following: “Maca is an adaptogen meaning that it will optimize hormone levels involving the hypothalamic-pituitary axis as opposed to selectively raising or lowering any specific hormone.

It elevates or lowers the hormones that are out of balance in the body. This is why it is capable of alleviating menopausal as well as andropausal symptoms in both sexes and has numerous other benefits associated with balancing all the glands of the endocrine system. All of this is provided the individual does not suffer from one of many endocrine gland diseases such as hypothyroidism, thyroid cancer, Addison's disease, etc.

For functional hormonal problems like those caused by stress, anxiety, poor diets, exposure to pollution and severe climate changes, maca will be of great help in rebalancing the system. It will not be of much help if the target organ (adrenals, testes, ovaries, etc.) is diseased in any way.”

My Experience

This is a super food that you will feel the effects of within a very short time frame! I use it myself and I love it. I find that I am very sensitive to caffeine so I really love the energy I feel on maca without the jitters and how I can sleep at night! Everything just works better. My husband uses it too and really enjoys it. (believe me, whether yourself or your spouse is taking it, you'll both notice!)
