I bought my pollen at a market. Is it safe?
by Jacqueline O.
(Spain)
I live in Spain, where can I buy safe bee pollen from here. Are health food shops ok? I recently bought some from a market. It was sold with no label inside a glass jar and looked the real deal. Having read your info I am worried that this pollen could cause me harm as I do not know whether it is safe. Please advise therefore where I should buy in future, thank you. I live in the Costa Del Sol area. Angela's Response: Hi Jacqueline, I would suggest you go back to the market and speak to the people you bought it from. Ask them where they grow/source their bee pollen from and use my site as a guide to ensure that you are getting a good product. Hopefully you bought the pollen direct from the bee keeper so he'd be able to answer your questions. Bee Healthy ~ Angela
