Fresh frozen royal jelly mixed with honey/ need to be cooled?

by Flint Liddon

I was told that if fresh royal jelly is mixed with honey that the mixture does not need to be refrigerated as the honey protects the jelly from breakdown. I know that honey is an antibiotic but have I been told the truth about fresh royal jelly mixed with honey?

Hi Flint,
Yes, this is correct. If it is mixed in a quality honey, it will naturally preserve the royal jelly. But it MUST be a quality honey. Most store bought, clear golden honeys will not work as they have been heavily processed. You'd want to use a raw, unpasteurized honey of high quality.
