Bee pollen and thyroid disease?
by Sharon A.

Hi! I am 42 yr. old woman and I am Hypothyroid after radioactive Iodine treatment for Graves Disease. I have been underactive for about 4 years now and I am taking both synthroid and cytomel for my thyroid. I've gain about 40 lbs and I have been having a horrible time taking weight off. I have been following the South Beach Diet for the last 6 months and have only lost about 10 lbs. I have friends that have been using the bee pollen and have had great success. I was wondering if you could give me some advice or tell me of any of your experiences with the bee pollen with people like myself. I'd really appreciate your honest input.
Angela's Comments:
I can definitely make some recommendations for you. Now, I haven't specifically used bee pollen with someone with Graves Disease before but we do have a great deal of feedback from customers using it for healthy weight loss. I would recommend you read my article on the bee pollen for weight loss here:

I would also recommend you begin using a very good natural thyroid product called ThyroSmart. I can not recommend this product enough - it is very effective and will help get your thyroid working better so that you are better able to lose body fat. It is available for sale on our site here:

I would also recommend you continue with the South Beach Diet. It is a very healthy and effective program and more importantly, sustainable. You may also want to consider taking some royal jelly as it has some hormone balancing properties and can help balance blood sugar, which is helpful for healthy fat loss.
