How I Became a Bee Girl....

My name is Angela. I grew up on the Dutchman's Gold bee farm in Carlisle, Ontario, Canada as the oldest of five kids.

My parents started Dutchman's Gold in 1980 just a couple of years after I was born. (and yes, both my parents are of Dutch ancestry!)

As a young girl growing up on a bee farm, my mom made sure I was fed plenty of raw honey and bee pollen. I can even remember sprinkling bee pollen granules on my homemade granola!

And whenever one of the kids got a cold, it was raw bee propolis for us and not antibiotics.

I feel so blessed - my mom raised us very holistically. We ate mostly whole, unprocessed foods, healthy foods and there was no 'junk food' allowed in the house.

This way of growing up really defined my values and love for the health food movement.

As I made my way through my teens, it quickly became apparent that I wanted to make my living in the world of natural health.

I wanted to be a healer. I wanted to teach people about nutrition and supplements and organic food. I wanted to share the message that what you put in your body REALLY did effect how you felt each day!

So off I went to the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto as a determined but naive eighteen year old.

Graduation and then what.....?

My experience at IHN was amazing. For a full year I totally immersed myself in the world of holistic nutrition. What had been instilled in me by my mother as a young girl now made so much sense.

I had to tell the world about what I had learned. And I was sure that they were ready to hear it!

I graduated near the top of my class and came out as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.

It was time to start consulting.

But where? I had no idea where to go to get a job as a Holistic Nutritional Consultant.

The hospitals only hire Dieticians and I wasn't one of those nor did I want to be.

After scouring the papers for jobs, I came to a startling conclusion - there was no one hiring R.H.N.'s, let alone paying them a hefty wage to tell people about natural health.

Wait, I had an idea - health food stores. I'll get a job at a health food store. I can do consultations for the customers coming into the stores!

And so I did....

You're going to pay me how much?

I was now in a setting where the people would be lining up to have a nutritional consultation. The health food industry was the perfect place for me!

Or so I thought. I got my first pay cheque.

This wasn't going to work. While I absolutely loved working in a health food store with the amazing products and great energy of the customers, I needed to make more money.

Maybe I couldn't do what I loved and make a living?

I was beginning to lose hope...

So back to school I went...

Clearly, I wasn't going to be able to make a good living telling people about natural health and supplements full time. (or so I thought)

So back to school I went to study...computer programming.

Yes, computer programming. Ugggghhhh. Just saying the words made me cringe. But at least I could get a good job and do nutritional consulting part time on the side.

Two years later I graduated near the top of my class and entered my first work term.

The problem this time was that I hated computer programing!

What was I going to do? I was spending most of my working hours in a dark room with other programmers staring at computer screens for hours on end. This was not for me.

I felt so unhealthy. I had no energy. I dreaded going in to work each day. I had to get out of this industry.

I'd rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable...

At least that is what I told myself. So back to the health food industry I went. It felt so good to be 'home.'

It was so amazing to be back telling people how the right foods and supplements could change their lives.

To see and hear people's testimonials about how things like royal jelly made such a difference in their menopause or how switching to an organic, whole food diet changed their life fulfilled me.

But there was still the financial struggle...

Then I saw the movie The Secret - a movie that said I could have it all.

I could make a great living in an industry that I loved. These two things weren't mutually exclusive, I just had to put my mind to it and through the Law of Attraction I'd attract like a magnet the 'things' I needed to make it happen.

It seemed to good to be true....

And then shortly thereafter I discoved SBI!

Not to long after embracing the message of The Secret, I stumbled upon one website which lead me to another website.... which lead me to SBI!

Reading through the SBI homepage, I couldn't believe what I was reading - this was exactly what I was looking for!

Maybe this Law of Attraction thing really did work?

SBI! stands for Solo Build It and they offer a way for the everyday person to build a profitable, viable e-business.

It doesn't matter whether you are new to online business-building or whether you are a knowledgeable Internet marketer...

They promised to help take my passion and make it into a viable online business!

This seemed to good to be true.

Except, it is true!

You see, I built the web site you're reading now with SBI! on a part time basis. I started it in October 2008 and in under a year my site was earning me over $1000 a month and growing!

That extra income has allowed me to remain in the nutrition and health field that I love so much and find so rewarding!

No longer do I dread getting out of bed. No longer do I stress about having enough money to 'get by' on.

And the amazing thing is that with SBI!, anyone can make an income on the web!

I know... I didn't believe it either!

Believe me, you need no programming skills or web design knowledge, no business and no product to sell. Just bring your brain and motivation. SBI has all the tools you need, and they take you by the hand and teach you step by step how to use everything.

In fact, my programming background hindered me more than it helped me because I thought with a diploma, 'I knew more than SBI!' I was very wrong...

They help you find the perfect topic for your site, to build it, to get traffic to it, and then they even teach you how to make money with it, no matter what it is about!

Have a look at the Video Tour to get an idea of how it works.

And have a look at this: hundreds of successful SBI websites , built by normal people like you and me. All these sites are in the top 1% of the most successful sites on the web.

You can also see that there is a staggering variety of topics that people have turned into profitable websites with SBI.

I'm so encouraged by the results and growth potential of my site that I'm planning on starting a second SBI! site in the next few months while continuing to build Bee Pollen Buzz.

And based on how my site is growing, I'll soon be able to live out one of my other dreams - to start a family.

With the additional income I'm now generating, I'll be able to take a financially stress-free maternity leave knowing that my site is there for me generating income while I take care of my newborn!

Now don't get me wrong - in the beginning building my site was a lot of work. And it still is.

But I know that when kids show up, I'll be able take the necessary time off and my site will continue to grow.

The power of this really hit home for me this past summer. I took a two week vacation and didn't touch my site once during this time.

But when I got back, my traffic had increased and I had my best month financially to date!

That is the power of SBI! So what are you waiting for?

I don't know anyone who wouldn't like to earn an extra $1000 - $2000 (or more) per month on a part time basis.

Or maybe you're stuck like I was in a boring, crappy job?

So....all I've got left to ask you is...

When is now a good time to do something about it?

Bee Healthy,

Angela

P.S. Have a look at how SBI! has changed these peoples lives...
